It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

The End of the Croissant Saga

Alas, the Croissant search ended with 2 people and one pup... staggering home... weakly falling onto sofas and pup beds and ordering in Indian Food .. vowing to just stick with what we know ... sticky sweet medialunas and those amazing almond croissants from L'epi . Which is what we did today . We went to the park with Pup, then we all walked to L'epi where they wave at Pup and make sure I am carrying my L'epi shopping bag, that always goes home stuffed with goodies.

Walking home through streets where the trees create these green bowers overhead...so beautiful.

The parks are full of people, there is some film work going on .. cinema film, not to mention all those people who carry their cameras wherever they go.
A skateboarder, flying down a hill, followed by another skate boarder, who is holding a camera in front of him, filming his friend.. yikes!
I could only watch once .. this is a two-way street for auto traffic and drivers here do not give pedestrians the right of way , with exceptions I am sure but overall, if it is between a car and a pedestrian, the car usually wins.
There are evening plans to be made, what are we doing tomorrow, what are we eating and where .. so much to do, so little time.
Happy weekend~

  1. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And if nothing else, it's good to know your almond croissants are the best thing going in town! (Although, Candice, maybe it's time to try your hand at making your own croissants??)
