It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Yesterday

Yesterday was a grey day
Well, not entirely grey
I had to have fresh air. This is a parasitic flora on a palm tree
A close-up .. amazing, isn't it ?
We had the park all to ourselves.
"They" were so kind as to leave us alone.
Pup met some other pups, they all became very close quite quickly.
Then he decided he'd go it alone, with us.
Well, the man on the big horse and us.
Then we went home and I lay in bed dreading and looking forward to today.

  1. The "sniffing" picture cracked me up...they formed a sniff triangle! Yesterday, Miss. Ginger the Dachshund was getting sniffed by a Great Dane and she was trying to sniff him! You can imagine how that looked...she never quite made it.
I've don't think I've ever heard the term "parasitic flora" before, I like it! :)

  2. Thank you J ! I think I have a fever and it is allowing me to hallucinate new names for things ...
There is another photo of pup with 2 tiny black poodles, everyone trying to get a sniff. The male dogs here are completely puzzled by Pup, he is neutered and that confuses them .. so being a Pup isn't all fun and games :)
