It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

In my garden this evening

And countless little Sparrows and   Cardinals and little Wrens and never forget the raucous Blue Jays.
Sometimes it is just magical ..

  1. Is that a humming bird? How did you manage to take its picture? They move so quickly.

We have the yellow bird, too, but I can't remember it's name.

    What is the other bird?

I am envious of all your birds. And you will have absolutely spectacular birds when you move to Florida.

I can't have a bird feeder because of my dog. Squirrels get in the bird feeder and the dog lunges at the squirrels who leap to the ground spilling all the bird seed. Then the dog happily eats all the bird seed, gets a stomach ache and has to go to the vet. So no more bird feeders at our house!

  2. Yes, a jeweled green hummingbird, ... but no, I am sorry but I didn't take any of these photos.
I wish but the camera is never nearby when something like this pops up .. or flies up :)
Yes, I remember the birds in Florida .. we had Egrets in our yard.
Squirrels are very annoying with the bird feeders.

    The birds are
    Green crowned hummingbird
    Golden Oriole
